Because each cover is cut from real issued liner, pattern placement and quilt lines vary from cover to cover. Yours will be its own.

Why the Woobie runs a little more: it's built from real quilted poncho liner, not new flat fabric. That means a softer, padded shell and more hand work to cut and finish each one.

The Woobie

Officially it was the poncho liner, built to tie into a rain poncho and make a field shelter. Nobody called it that. Troops used it as a blanket, a pillow, a ground cover and a morale item, and named it the woobie. The M81 Woodland version rode in rucks for decades, and almost everyone who wore the uniform has a story about theirs.
